Happy Easter!

Roman woke up Sunday morning feeling much better, and while he took a shower, the Easter Bunny left a little gift on his pillow (sorry/not sorry for the cutesiness).

We headed to Chatuchak market, the giant weekend market in Bangkok, where I finally found a sun hat. Many of the stalls were closed—probably as a result of Covid—but there was still a lot going on.

Fake flowers. No discernible scent.

Lunch

The cutest hot water bottles! I wanted to buy one for my mom, and Megan,
and Sybylla, and pretty much everyone else I know

Toilet 5 Baht...Bathroom 10 Baht?

Is that a ...swastika right by the Beatles poster?

And not just the swastika. Ugh.

The Nazi imagery, sandwiched between Beatles and Sex Pistols posters was weird. I really don't know what to think or say.

Okay, how do you transition from Nazis?

So...um, in the evening, we returned to Yaowarat (Chinatown) for dinner.

Elevated seating at Lhong Tou, one of our favorite dim sum spots.

Fried chicken

Clay pot rice, smoked duck breast, liver sausage

Then we returned to Si Lom for some night swimming on our last evening in this Airbnb.
